It’s so easy to get fooled by this.

One of the traps that I see people falling into right now is that they think that everything needs to be created with, promoted with, reworded by or somehow involved with AI.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

Solomon said this."What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun."

How can that statement possibly be true, given that we know there are plenty of new things?

Chief among the new things is AI.

The statement is true because of this: what doesn't change is human nature.

What amazes me (after having reviewed thousands of sales letters, thousands of order form pages, thousands of offers) is how easy it is to get trapped in the details of your offer and miss the big five questions that have to be answered.

Let me give you the questions so that you can evaluate what you're promoting, whether you're promoting something as an affiliate or you're creating your own offer.

First, two pieces of advice.

Don't get so caught up in the mechanics of your offer that you fail to address the core concerns.

When promoting anything, make sure that your solo ad, your sales letter, your landing page, your order form, all of your marketing materials, even your social posts, include answers to these five questions.

  1. "I don't have enough time"

  2. "I've tried things like this before"

  3. "I'm not sure I can do this"

  4. "It's too expensive"

  5. "I don't trust this yet"

When people are in the process of pulling out their credit card to place that order, these are the questions that flash through their mind.

Ironically, AI is lousy at being able to answer those questions.

If you want to sell more, here's my advice: step back from your offer, step back from your own sales copy, from the emails you write, from all those other things, and make sure that your sales material answers those five questions.

If you do that, I believe you will sell more.

And selling more is a beautiful thing indeed.
