Everybody knows the story of Microsoft Word.
The man behind it became a very, very rich person.
Now imagine having the top app in the App Store. What would that do for your bank account?
But here is what most people miss about software success.
The people winning in software today are not building the big, splashy products. Those products take teams of 100 people and months or years of development.
The winners are going small.
The fact is, in the era of AI, creating software that helps real people is easier than it has ever been.
Both are very easy to use. You talk (or type) into them, and they create the application for you. They even host it for you.
Then you give it away or sell it. However you want.
So how do you get started on this journey toward being a software entrepreneur?
You sit down with a piece of paper and a pencil (old school, right?) and make a list of the problems you face every day.
Problems you face every month? Great.
Every week? Great.
Every day? Even better.
Because here is the thing about software.
Every piece of software that has succeeded since computers existed did it for ONE reason and one reason only: it solved a problem.
And in today's world, we have a wide variety of problems that small software applications can solve very easily.
I have built dozens of these small applications. They work very well, customers love them, and they are simple to set up.
So my advice today is simple.
Get big by going small.
Build a business as big as you want it to be by developing a series of small software products. Or just one.
You do not have to know how to code. You do not have to know any of the technical details.
All you need is an idea and the ability to talk.
And if you need to know if your idea is any good, you can use one of my free tools to see instantly. Here’s the link … PressureTestMyIdea.com
It is so much easier than people think it is.
