I've been privileged to be in the newsletter business since 1998.

My first experience was as a consultant and copywriter for the Directory of Ezines.

About two years later, I bought the company and have run it ever since.

Let me share why I'm such a big fan of email newsletters.

  1. People love free information, and nothing delivers it better than an email newsletter.

That's because the information comes to you without you having to do anything.

No Google searches, no blog post reading. You just open your email, and voila, there it is.

  2. People will read your newsletter when they will never read your selling emails.

I've seen this with every single newsletter client I've ever worked with. It's true in my own life as well. There are people who never open one of my emails and tell me frequently they really enjoyed my newsletter.

  3. An email newsletter is the golden rule in action. If you believe that it's better to give than to receive, then a newsletter is definitely for you.

You get to share your experiences. You get to share your disappointments. You get to share from your heart. You get to ask questions. You get to do all these things and never have to be “salesy” in your newsletter.

  4. A newsletter will make you more money than almost anything else that you can do. Sounds wrong, I know, but it's true.

Your newsletter can be your main traffic driver.

Not a traffic driver, the traffic driver for all of your offers. That's because when you do a newsletter the right way, you'll use what I call the breathing method.

More about that later, and if you're a master member, log in and take a look at my course on the breathing method.

The number one question I get about starting an email newsletter is this - don't I need to be an expert to write a newsletter?

The answer is no.

All you have to do is share from your experience, your research, from the things you read, from the things you buy, from the things that you pick up along the way.

Sharing is the name of the game.

I hope you consider starting an email newsletter of your own.

If you do want to start one, let me know, and I will be happy to help.

I look forward to hearing from you, and thank you for reading my newsletter.
