Every person who's tried to succeed online has felt the same pain that you might be feeling right now.
It's not the pain of buying a product and then having it not work for you. Everybody experiences that.
It's not the pain of having told friends and loved ones that you were going to do this online thing and everything was going to go great, and then it turns out not so much.
It's the pain of realizing that you can never get back the time that you invested trying to succeed online.
Notice I say "invested" because the time you spent wasn't wasted.
It's just not producing a return on your investment of time … yet.
There's a surefire way to fix that.
Work with someone who's been there and done that and has the scars to prove it.
If you want that someone to be me, click this link.
If that’s not for you, then follow this formula, and it should help.
Step one - write down what you REALLY want an online business to do for you.
Most people have a very hard time being honest with themselves at this stage. People universally think that what they want is too good to be true, and it's just not going to happen.
But the truth is that so much more can happen for you online than most people think.
I'm not talking pie in the sky. I'm talking 26 years of real-world experience.
For example, do you want to set up a business that primarily runs on its own without you having to be involved at all? That can be done, especially in the era of AI.
You want other people driving traffic for you while you make the sales and share profits with them? Again, completely doable even if you're not a big-name "guru."
Do you want to help people and see real change happen in their lives because they buy your product, subscribe to your newsletter, and follow your advice? Again, completely doable even if you are not THE expert of the world.
Being as candid as you can be, write down five things that DESCRIBE the business you want.
Not the niche. Not the product. Describe the OUTCOME you want.
Got your list ready? Move on to step two.
Step two - write down something you tried that worked on ANY level.
And I mean any level.
A social post that got a comment.
An ad that got clicked.
A web page that received visitors.
Until you break through to success, it is vital to embrace every single positive thing that happens.
Step 3 - Ask someone who has had the experience that you want to have what you should do next and what they did to get where they are.
This is a tricky step, so pay careful attention to the next thing that I say.
If that person cares about you, they're going to give you an honest answer.
If that person doesn't care about you (and I'm sorry to say this happens too much) that person is going to try to sell you something.
A person's ability and willingness to help you BEFORE you spend money is a sure sign of how your relationship will develop over time if you do buy something from them.
The online gurus hate it when I say stuff like this, but it's the truth.
So there you have it: three steps you can take in the next 24 hours that will help clarify your thinking and get you off of the treadmill of trying to find the right fit.

One last word, if I might.
I've been fortunate to be successful online. I've been fortunate to meet people who have been even more successful than me online.
I can tell you that every single one of them has been exactly where you are right now.
So here's my parting piece of advice.
Success is not final. Failure is not fatal. It is the will to continue that matters most.
Because never surrendering your dream is a beautiful thing indeed!
I hope to get the chance to work with you.
