A customer wrote in with extreme frustration in his email. I could almost hear him pulling his hair out as he wrote it.
Here's what he was upset about.
He's reading in his emails, in his Facebook feed, and in many other places that he goes online that AI is “changing everything” and “get on the bandwagon now, or you will be left behind.”
Of course, these startling statements are followed by a "click here" link where you can go get this special fancy-schmancy AI tool that's going to build your site, make sales, build your list, help you lose weight, regrow your hair and much, much more.
Honestly. Is this what we have become?
So here are a couple of facts that I hope will encourage you.
First, AI is changing things, and it is changing things very, very quickly. No doubts there.
Second, for almost 100% of the people who are reading this or who will read anything online, failure to fully embrace AI is not the same as being left behind.
If you'll allow me, I'll use myself as an example.
I'm about as AI-forward as anybody my age.
I own an AI software company.
I create websites, funnels, and products using AI every day.
And I have an AI personal assistant.
But I'm writing this email the old-fashioned way: fingers on a keyboard.
Why? Because communicating with you every day is FAR too important to trust to any AI. Even one I have trained.
I guess what I'm trying to say is this: we need to keep perspective about AI.
It's a tool. It's no different than any other tool. It helps you do things faster. It helps you do things better. Sometimes it helps you do both.
If you were my brother or sister, this is what I would say to you.
Don't let all the hype about AI make you feel like you're falling behind. AI is a tool, and it's good to learn how to use it, but you're not going to get left behind.

Write a short social media post about [TOPIC]. My audience is [WHO THEY ARE]. Make it friendly and helpful, end with a question to get comments, and keep it under 150 words. No hashtags.
PROMPT 2: The "Explain It To Me" Prompt
Explain [TOPIC] to me like I've never heard of it before. Use simple words and give me one real-world example I can picture. Keep it short.
PROMPT 3: The Email Reply Helper
Here is an email I received: [PASTE EMAIL]. Help me write a friendly, professional reply that [WHAT YOU WANT TO SAY]. Keep it short and genuine.
PROMPT 4: The "What Should I Say?" Prompt
I need to [DESCRIBE THE SITUATION - post on Facebook, send a thank-you note, write a product description, etc.]. My goal is to [WHAT YOU WANT TO HAPPEN]. Write 3 short versions I can choose from.
